SEMINAR WORKSHOP ON SCHOOL LEARNING ACTION CELL (SLAC) FOR CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (CPD) ACCREDITATION

1.    To ensure teachers continuing professional development programs within the framework of School-Based Management and in accordance to the principle of continuing professional development, this Division through the Human Resource Development Section (HRDS) of the School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD) will conduct a Seminar Workshop on SLAC for CPD Accreditation on October 25-27,2018 at Tia Anitas, Catbalogan City.

2.    This program aims to re-orient the School Heads on the critical guidelines and procedures in conducting SLAC Programs qualified to earn CPD Units as required by the Professional Regulatory Board (PRC).

3.    The participants of this three-day activity are the public elementary and secondary school heads.

4.    The School Head-participants are required to bring their school data on the results of the Self-Assessment Test (SAT) as reflected in the Teacher’s Professional Development Plan which will be the basis in crafting their School SLAC Plan.

5.    Participants to this training are entitled for one (1) day service credit.

6.    Expenses to be incurred in conducting this activity shall be charged against Division HRD Fund, subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

7.    Immediate dissemination of this memorandum is desired
