SUBJECT: PARTICIPATION^ CATBALOGAN CITY DIVISION TO THE “ECOBRICKS MAKING
                  TRAINING WORKSHOP”

DATE:      August 10,2018

1.     The City Government of Catbalogan in partnership with the Global Ecobricks Alliance and the Catbalogan City Division through the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) shall participate a Two-day Workshop dubbed as “ECOBRICKS MAKING TRAINING WORKSHOP” on August 13-14,2018, 9:00am-5:00pm to be held at the Provincial Covered Court.

2.   The activity aims to maximize community empowerment and raise ecological consciousness, which are the key in transitioning from “trash” to plastic. Ecobrick is a plastic bottle stuffed solid with non-biological waste to create a reusable building blocks.

3.   The participants to this activity are the Division Education Program Supervisor for Science, PDO ll/Division DRRM Coordinator, School YES-O Coordinator, SSG/SPG President, Science Club President, PSYSC President, YES-O President and two (2) YES-O Officers.

4.   The participants in every school is required to bring at least five (5) kilos of clean plastic trashes and ten (10) pieces of clean 1.5 liters, empty plastic bottles, and scissors.

5.   Snacks will be provided by the organizers, while participants are requested to bring their own food for lunch.

6.   No registration shall be collected rom the participants. Travel and other related expenses incurred by the participants during the conduct of the activity are chargeable against local/school/MOOE fund subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

7.    This Memorandum shall serve as the Travel Order of the participants.

8.   Strict compliance and wide dissemination of this Memorandum are highly desired.
