LIVE-OUT DIVISION TRAINING-WORKSHOP ON
MULTI-FACTORED
ASSESSMENT
TOOL (MFAT) AND INCLUSIVE EDUCATION
1. In support to the various trainings and workshops conducted by the Department of
Education both in the national and regional levels and in cognizant with Regional Memorandum No. 250 S.2018 , “Roll-Out of the Multi-Factored Assessment Tool, Inclusive Education and Special Education Trainings in the Divisions” , this office through the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) shall conduct a Live-out
Division Training-Workshop on Multi-Factored Assessment Tool (MFAT ) and Inclusive Education on July 5-7, 2018 at the venue to be announced later.
2. The objectives of the training -workshop are the following:
a. To properly orient the teachers in
the utilization of the Multi-Factored
Assessment Tool
(MFAT);
b. Update receiving teachers (Grade I Teas.)
on the latest practices in Special
Education; and
c. Awareness of school administrators in the stronger implementation of inclusive
education.
3. The participants to the Training-Workshop are the (10) District Supervisors, Elementary
School Heads and All Grade 1 Teachers in the (5) Five Districts. (Pis. see enclosure 1 for the class scheduling.)
4. The participants are advised to bring the hard copy of MFAT Tool and materials.
5. A registration fee of One Thousand six hundred Pesos (Php 1,600.00) shall be collected
from the participants to defray expenses for the venue, food to cover the 3 lunch and 6 snacks (for 3 day ), needed supplies and materials and other incidental / miscellaneous expenses. All other costs incurred relative to the conduct of the training-workshop shall be charged against local/school MOOE funds subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
6. Immediate and wide disseminating memorandum is earnestly desired
