SUBJECT: 2018 DIVISION KINDERGARTEN FESTIVAL OF TALENTS

DATE:      October 30, 2018

1.                In line with the Children’s Month Celebration which is conducted in the month of November, the Division of Catbalogan City, thru the Curriculum Implementation Division, shall hold its Division Kindergarten Festival of Talents with the theme “Isulong: Tamang Pag-aaruga Para sa Lahat ng Bata” contextualized in the mother tongue language as “Igsulong: Eksakto nga Pag-ataman nan Ngatanan nga Kabataan”, for both public and private schools on November 29, 2018 at 8:00 o’clock A.M. at a venue to be announced later.

2.            The festival will include the following contests:

a. Kindergarten Quiz (in Mother Tongue)

b. Dramatic Monologue (in Mother Tongue)

c. Vocal Solo

d. Drawing

e. Story-telling (in Mother Tongue)

f.    Modern Dance

g. Folk Dance

3.              Participants to the said contests are the first place winners in the ten (10) districts of the public schools and the six (6) private schools.

4.             Before this division level contest, it is presumed that each district/school shall conduct District/School level kindergarten festival of talents before the Division level contests to ensure maximum participation of kindergarteners from all schools.

5.             The details, guidelines and criteria for judging the different contests are found in the attached enclosure of this Memorandum.

6.             The facilitators and judges are identified in this memorandum. Hence, this will also serve as their office/travel order.

7.              A registration fee of Forty Pesos (P40.00) shall be collected from each contestant to defray the activity’s expenses for the medals, certificates, tokens and food for the facilitators and judges which shall be chargeable against local/SPED/and other available funds subject to the usual auditing and accounting rules and regulations.

8. Immediate and wide dissemination   of this Memorandum is enjoined.

GUIDELINES ON THE CONTESTS FOR THE KINDERGARTEN FESTIVAL OF TALENTS

1. Some contests for the Kindergarten Festival of Talents will be administered simultaneously in different venues/classrooms.

2.  Details of guidelines, facilitators and venues for the contests are given below

3.                  Participating schools/districts are encouraged to send different contestants to the

different contests to avoid delay in the conduct of the competitions and so that more pupils will

be given the chance to develop their talents.

4.                The result of the contests as declared by the board of judges is final and irrevocable.

5.             The first three winners of all the contests shall receive medals while their coaches shall

receive certiicates of recognition.
