DIVISION SEARCH FOR THE MOST FUNCTIONAL HOME ECONOMICS ROOM

1. In line with DepEds vision to provide quality education to all learners, Catbalogan City Division announces the conduct of the “2018 Search for the Most Functional Home Economics Room”.
2. The objectives of the search are:
a.
Revitalize the utilization of the Home Economics Room as a replica of an ideal
home for
developing
lifelong learning skills.
b. To equip our home economics rooms with
facilities that would advocate our EPP pupils,
families
and stakeholders and Empowering them to become more transformed and
organized
individual in the future.
c. To maintain our Home Economics room as a
venue for practicum for our young boys and
girls
for their duties in the home in maintaining healthy environment as well as
promoting
and protecting the well-being of
individuals.
d. To appreciate the value and importance of H.E. room in the school.
3. The search is open to all Central and Non-Central Elementary Schools of Catbalogan City
Division. Only 1 entry per category for every district.
4. The top three (3) winners shall receive a Trophy and Plaque of Recognition.
5. The School Head shall signify through email the confirmation that the school is willing to participate the search, (florenadolorzo@gmail.com)
6. The selection will be based on the following criteria:
A. As a replica of a real home. 20%
(Complete parts of the house with complete house/classroom facilities with water and electrical connections)
B. Functional H.E. Room appliances,
that will add the ambiance of an H.E. room 15%
C. Presence of kitchen wares and kitchen utensils.
(cabinets/aparador, sala set, dining set, working tables and chairs)
E. Available Lecture Room/Area 20%
(tables, chairs, blackboard, subject centers and display area for projects)
F. Weii-venfiiaied H.E. Room 15%
(windows with appropriate and properly fixed curtains,
enough lights and ventilation and with real indoor plants)
G. Proper bedroom arrangement 15%
(bed with bed cover, appropriate pictures in its proper places,
Curtains and other necessary display)
TOTAL 100%
7. The evaluation shall be done on the 1st and 2nd week of December 2018, with the following team composition:

8. The decision of the judges is final and irrevocable.
9. Awarding of prizes to the winners shall be done on December 2018, during the “Division Pasidungog”.
10. Wide and immediate dissemination of this memorandum is desired.
