SUBJECT:   MENTORING FOR THE CAMPUS WRITER-QUALIFIERS

TO THE 2018 REGIONAL SCHOOLS PRESS CONFERENCE (RSPC)

DATE:         November 9, 2018

1     In preparation for the 2018 Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) in December this year at Ormoc City, the Division through the Curriculum Implementation Division(CID) will conduct a three-day MENTORING FOR THE CAMPUS WRITER-QUALIFIERS TO THE 2018 REGIONAL SCHOOLS PRESS CONFERENCE (RSPC) on November 17, 24, and December 1, 2018 at Eastern Visayas Regional Science High School (EVRSHS), Catbalogan City.

2. The objectives of the said activity are:

• To provide additional important inputs to the campus-writers on the different contest-
        events they are to join in;

• To develop further the writing  skills of the campus journalists through  the writing
        activities/exercises that will be provided; and

• Capacitate further the adviser-coaches on how to effectively coach witers under their
        charge.

3.     The participants to the said activity are the top five (5) campus writer-winners in the 2018 DESSPC, their respective coaches, and the Division Mentors.

4.     Below are the journalism events with the respective Division Mentors:
