their Students to Watch the Movie, “Ang Misyon : A Marawi

Siege Story”

We have received reports that some teachers, particularly in Basilan National High School and other schools in Zamboanga City, are compelling their students to watch the movie, “Ang Misyon: A Marawi Siege Story” which was produced by Mr. Cesar Soriano of INQ.TV.

On a previous Memorandum dated 14 June 2018, we have informed selected schools that Mr. Soriano and his team will conduct interviews to gather inspiring stories and narratives in the lives and work of our public school teachers. Nothing in the said Memorandum includes any reference, instruction or endorsement of any kind to compel or encourage students to watch the aforementioned ilm.

This clarification is made to guide all concerned.
