SUBJECT: Launching of Mini-Bayani Challenge

1. In compliance with Memorandum Circular No. 187, issued by the Mayor’s Office dated July 27, 2018 re: MINI-BAYANI CHALLENGE, this office announces that the City Government of Catbalogan and the GAWAD KALINGA will conduct the launching of resettlement area in Barangay Payao, Catbalogan City for the victims of the landslide in Barangay Mercedes of this City is finally slated on August 3,4 & 5,2018. The launching will start on August 03,2018 at 8:00 AM in Barangay Payao where the site of the resettlement is located.
2. In support to the City Government to
highlight this bayanihan spirit, the expected participants are the following
identified DepEd officials and personnel as well as the allotted number of
teachers from each District/School are enjoined to attend the
said activity.

3. The Travel Order of the identified teacher participants shall be issued and approved by their respective School Heads while for the DepEd personnel it shall be identified by the respective division and approved by the Office of the Schools Division Superintendent. All expected volunteers of this activity are advised to wear White T- Shits.
4. The expenses relative to the conduct of this activity such as meals and snacks shall be charged to their respective Division/Schools MOOE fund subject to usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SUBJECT: MINI-BAYANI CHALLENGE
This
is in reference to the launching program of the
60 unit row houses as resettlement project donated through the Gawad Kalinga Community Development Foundation for the victims of landslides in Barangay Mercedes of this City. The undersigned is requesting you and your co-workers to participate in the said Bayani Challenge/Heroes Build, finally slated on August 3, 4 & 5, 2018. The launching will start on August 3. 2018, 8:00 AM in Barangay Payao where the site of the resettlement project is located.
In connection thereto, you and your colleagues/volunteers who will participate the event are requested o wear white T-shirt during the launching and are expected to wear working clothes during the succeeding days.
The Gawad Kalinga will discuss and provide the mechanics for the scheduling of the volunteers during the launching program. They also intend to expand or provide additional resettlement project in Catbalogan City as long as this one will be successful.
We also would like to reiterate that as agreed during the initial briefing/orientation last July 2, 2018, that the volunteers will bring their own food and snacks.
