BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS) TRAINING FOR SCHOOL
DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND
MANAGEMENT
(DRRM) COORDINATORS

1. To increase the capacity of the DepEd Personnel for disaster preparedness and to build more
resiliency on the psychosocial aspect, the Division of Catbalogan City through the Division Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Unit in partnership with the Catbalogan City DRRM Council will be having a training on Basic Life Support for all School DRRM Coordinators on August 2 to 3,2018 at 8:00 in the morning at 3rd Floor, Tia Anita’s Building.
2. The objectives of this activity are as follow:
a. Improve the skills of the School DRRM Coordinators on the provision of BLS;
b. Increase capacity of the paticipants for “self-help” as fundamental on survival
skills.
3. Participants are advised to be at the venue on time and wear a comfotable clothing (jogging pants,
t-shirt, maong pants, etc.)
4. A registration fee of One Thousand One Hundred Pesos (Php 1,100.00) shall be collected from the
participants to defray expenses for the venue, food (lunch, AM and PM snacks for 2 days), needed supplies and materials and other incidental/ miscellaneous expenses. Registration Fee and other cost incurred relative to the conduct of the training shall be charged against local/school MOOE funds subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
