PILOT TESTING OF DEVELOPED DIVISION CONTEXTUALIZED LEARNING RESOURCES (DCLRs)

Elementary and Secondary School Heads All Others Concerned
1. Pursuant to Regional Memorandum No. 263 s. 2018, entitled “Submission of the Required Reports
for Curriculum Contextualization”, this office, through the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID), requires ail schools in the division to conduct pilot testing of teacher-developed Division Contextualized Learning Resources (DCLRs) of all learning areas in all grade levels (Grade 1 to Grade 10).
The pilot testing shall be done on June 27,2018 by the school heads of the selected elementary and secondary schools. Below are the 15 selected elementary schools, which shall pilot test the DCLR (Lesson Plan) for the English subject for Grade 3 to one class only for every school.

The following selected Secondary Schools shall pilot test the Mathematics subject for Grade 8 to three classes only for each school.
• Samar National School
• Silanga National High School
3. The Pilot Testing could be done in the classroom as a demonstration with at least two observers (eg.
School Head/EPS learning Area/CID Chief/PSDS) using the Pilot Testing Instrument for Contextualized Learning Resources. Attach is the list of observers for the schools concerned.
4. The DCLR (Lesson Plan) to be used in the pilot testing shall be uniform and can be taken from the
Learning Area Supervisor concern. (Attention: Paulina D. Gabon and Edgar V. Calvadores, Education Program Supervisors for English and Mathematics subjects, respectively.)
5. In view, thereof, an analysis report relative to this shall be submitted by the School Head to the
Learning Resource Management Development System (LRMDS) on June 28, 2018. Attach is the Analysis Report Template to be accomplished by the School Head.
6. Expenses incurred relative to this activity shall be charged against School MOOE subject to the usual
accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
7. This Memorandum shall serve as the Travel Order of the observers.
8. Immediate dissemination of and compliance with this Memorandum are desired.

SUBMISSION OF PRETEST PER LEARNING AREA ACROSS ALL GRADE LEVELS
To: Chief Education Supervisor
Education Program Supervisors Public School District Supervisors All Others Concerned
1. Pursuant to Division Memorandum No. 200 s. 2018, entitled Orientation- Workshop on
the Conduct of Pretest/Post Test, the Learning Resource Management Development System (LRMDS) through the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID), requires all districts of the elementary level and all schools in the secondary level to submit the pretest/post test, together with, the Table of Specifications assigned to them to the Learning Area Supervisor on or before June 26, 2018.
2. Please be reminded that the following should be considered in the preparation of the
pretest/post test:
a. table of specifications covering the Revised Bloom’s Taxonomy of Objectives;
b. the number of items per grade level; and
c. the required competencies from Quarter 1 to Quarter 4.
3. It is understood that the pretest should have been administered before the end of
June, 2018.
4. An analysis report on the result of the pretest shall also be submitted to the Learning
Area Supervisor.
5. Immediate dissemination of and compliance with this Memorandum are desired.
