      A DAY WITH THE CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES

1.       The National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA) will spearhead the observance of the 40th National

Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation (NDPR) Week on July 17 – 23, 2018, with the theme: “Kakayahan at Kasanayan Para sa Kabuhayan Tungo sa Kaunlaran”,

2.    The NDPR Week is commemorated yearly by virtue of proclamation No. 361, declaring the third week of

July as the National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week which shall culminate on the birth date of the sublime paralytic, Apolinario Mabini on July 23 of each year.

3.     The Samar GS Council will conduct A DAY WITH THE CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES on July 18. 2018 from

8:00AM to 1:00PM at the Samar GS Council Hqs., Catbalogan City.

4.     Participants of this event are the pupils/students with disability.

5.    Widest dissemination and strict compiiance of this Division Memorandum is desired.

In line with the celebration, the Girl Scouts of the Philippines -SAMAR COUNCIL will hold an event dubbed “A Day with the Children with Special Needs” on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 8:00 a/m/ to 1:00 p.m. at the Samar GS Council Hqs., Catbalogan City.

Districts and Schools are encouraged to actively participate and conduct meaningful activities during the week with the participation of the PWDs.
