DIVISION CONVERGENCE MEETING ON OPLAN BALIK ESKWELA 2018

1.     This has reference to DepEd memorandum No. 50, s. 2018, dated April 03, 2018, the Oplan Balik

Eskwela (OBE) and the Public Assistance Station (PAS) for School Year (SY) 2018-2019, to ensure the smooth opening of classes.

2.       The Oplan Balik Eskwela (OBE) and Public Assistance Station (PAS) primarily aim to address the

problems commonly encountered at the stat of the School Year to ensure that pupils/students are already properly enrolled and able to attend school by the first day of classes.

3.     In view thereof, a Division Convergence Meeting with the 2018 Oplan Balik Eskwela Inter-Agency

Task Force (OBE-IATF) shall be conducted on May 21, 2018 at Tia Anita’s Building,       2nd Floor,

Catbalogan City which will stat at     9:00 AM. Participants to this meeting are the Provincial

Directors/representatives of the Government Agencies mentioned below, Schools Division Superintendent, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, Chiefs of the Division Office, Education Program Supervisors, Public Schools District Supervisors and Elementary & Secondary School Heads.

4.   The OBE-lnter Agency Task Force shall compose the following Government Agencies which are

involved in School opening matters:

• Department of Interior and local Government (DILG)

• Department of Health (DOH)

• Philippine Army (PA)

• Department of Public Works & Highways (DPWH)

• Department of Social Welfare & Development (DSWD)

• Department of Trade & Industry (DTI)

• SAMELCO.il

• PAGASA

• Philippine National Police (PNP)

• City Traffic Enforcer

• City Environmental & Natural Resources

• Bureau of Fire Protection

• LGU/Mayor”s Office

• City Federated President

5.      Immediate dissemination and compliance with this Memorandum are desired.
