Subject: 2018 DISTRICT ACTION RESEARCH CONGRESS
Date: May 9, 2018
1. This Office through the School Governance and Operations Division shall conduct the District Action Research
Congress on May 29-30,2018. The specific venue will be announced later in a separate memorandum.
2. The activity aims to:
• provide
an avenue for the exchange of ideas and experiences among teacher-researchers
with the goal of
enhancing
their research capability;
• showcase
the action research papers conducted which aim to strategically improve the
quality, access and
governance
of basic education;
• offer avenue for the teacher-researchers to present their research outputs to communicate and disseminate research
results; and promote a culture of research in aid for research-based policy formulation.
3. The
submitted action researches were screened by the Schools Division Research
Committee (SDRC) to evaluate
relevance
to the Basic Education Research Agenda stipulated in DepEd Order No. 39, s.
2016.

7. Another schedule for the other districts
will be accommodated within the month of June upon request of the Public
Schools District Supervisors and
Principals/School Heads.
8. A REGISTRATION FEE OF PHP 870.00 shall be
collected from each participant to defray expenses for the food (2
meals & 4 snacks)
and training materials chargeable to local fund/MOOE subject to the usual
auditing rules and
regulations.
