NATIONAL SEMINAR-WORKSHOP ON TEACHERS’ RIGHTS, RESPONSIBILITIES,
        AND LEGAL LIABILITIES OF THE PHILIPPINE PEDAGOGICAL INSTITUTE

The Philippine Pedagogical Institute (PPI) will conduct the National Seminar Workshop on Teachers’ Rights, Responsibilities and Legal Liabilities from April 28 to 30, 2018 at the Pines View Hotel, 24 Legarda Road, Barangay Burnham-Legarda, Baguio City.

The seminar-workshop aims to:

1. clarify teachers’ legal liabilities on negligence, student injury or
     illness, transporting students, child abuse, corporal punishment
     and field trips;

2. identify legal procedures in handling cases of non-sexual and
      sexual assault offenses, as well as their implications for teachers
      and school administrators; and

3. discuss relevant and timely features /stipulations of the Child
      Protection Policy.

The target participants are teachers and school administrators of any level from public and private schools.
