SCHOOL-BASED SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT

1. In line with the City’s 2018 Earth Day Celebration whose theme is “End Plastic Pollution”, and
the Soft Launching of the Mangrove Boardwalk and School-Based Solid Waste Management,
DepEd, Division of Catbalogan City informs all concerned of the following activities which will be participated by teachers, employees and students hereunder specified:

2. The District Supervisors are required to submit the pre-registration form herein attached to
ensure attendance of the personnel concerned
on or before April 20, 2018. All are encouraged to
invite their friends and family members to participate in this endeavor. There
shall be a
separate registration form for other family members who will be interested to
join the activity.
3. Teacher participants shall be entitled to service credits per DepEd Order No. 53, s. 2003 entitled
“Updated Guidelines on the Grant of Vacation Service Credits to Teachers” for their attendance in these activities.
4. Expenses incurred relative to the conduct of this activities shall be charged against local/MOOE
funds subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
5. Immediate dissemination and compliance to this Memorandum is earnestly desired.
