Consistent with the thrust of the City Government of Catbalogan for the development of sports among the youth and in communities, the undersigned hereby enjoin you to attend this year’s Sports Forum, Action Planning and Consultation of the Proposed Sports Development Ordinance on March 5, 2018 at Lucas Wharf Restaurant.
This three-in-one activity is aimed at enhancing the current sports program of the city by: As to the Sports Forum. Collect, listen and reflect on diverse information and opinions from various sports stakeholders on the current state of sports program of the City. As to the Action Planning, Formulate a comprehensive one-year action plan to improve and achieve a desirable state of city’s sports program with due involvement and participation of all sports stakeholders in the City. As to the Consultation of the Proposed Sports Development Ordinance. Institutionalize the sports development program of the City by establishing a sound sports development policy and strengthening sports’ organizational support system
The said activity will start at 7:00 AM and hopes to end at 8:00 in the evening with the following tentative schedule:
7:00-9:00 AM Registration
While waiting for the other participants, early registrants will be asked to
answer assessment questions and will be encouraged to have a focused
group discussions with identified co-sector representatives.
9:00-9:30 AM Preliminaries
9:30-11:00 NN Assessment of various activities
11:00-12:30 NN Situational Analysis (SWOT)
12:30-1:30 PM Lunch
1:30-2:30 PM Visioning
2:30-3:30 PM Action Planning
3:30-5:30 PM Presentation of Action Plans and Targets
5:30-6:30 PM Consultation of Proposed Sports Development Ordinance
6:30-7:30 PM Dinner and Closing Program
