2018 LIVE-IN CONCENTRATION TRAINING OF ATHLETES (PHASE II)

TO:            Assistant Schools Division Superintendents

Chief Education Supervisors (CID & SGOD) Education Program Supervisors

Public Schools District Supervisors

Elementary and Secondary School Heads All Others Concerned

1.        In preparation for the 2018 Eastern Visayas Athletic Association (EVRAA) Meet which will be held in

Calbayog City from February 4-10, this year, this Division shall conduct the Second Phase of Concentration Training of Athletes from January 17-30,2018 to fully prepare the participants for the said higher meet competitions.

2.       The expected participants are the athletes, coaches, assistant coaches, chaperons and trainers of SDO

CCAA Delegation whose names are found in the enclosures attached herewith: specifically, Enclosure 1 – List of Management Staff and Committees; Enclosure 2 – List of Athletes, Coaches, Asst. Coaches, Chaperon and Trainers.

3.       Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Chaperons and Trainers will be granted with Service Credits for the

Actual Services rendered during Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, per DepED Order No.53, s. 2017, while school heads/non-teaching personnel involved in this activity will be granted with CSC-DBM Joint Circular No.2, dated October 4, Series of 2004.

4.       While the Athletes attending the concentration training will be given academic instructions which will

be delivered by the selected elementary and secondary teachers who shall be granted service credits for their actual teaching academic/activities. This Memorandum shall serve as Travel Authority of the participants to this activity.

5.       The Office of the School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD) shall took charge of the overall

supervision of the entire training activities.

6.        Expenses for the meals of the participants, transportation and other incidental expenses shall be

charged to LGU Special Education Fund (SEF) subject to its availability and the usual accounting and

auditing rules and regulations.
