SUBJECT: PARTICIPATION OF CATBALOGAN CITY DIVISION IN THE 2018 NATIONAL SCHOOLS PRESS CONFERENCE (NSPC)

1.            In reference to DepEd Memorandum No. 200, s.2017 (2018 National Schools Press Conference), the Office through the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID), announces4he Participation of Catbalogan City Division in the 2018 National Schools Press Conference (NSPC) with the theme “Embracing ASEAN integration: Campus Journalists’ Role in Advancing Inclusive Education” on February 19 to 23, 2018 in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, Central Visayas (RegionVII) hosted by the schools division of Dumaguete City.

2. The members of the Catbalogan City Delegation to the said event are as

         3.  The delegates are expected to be at the venue on February 19, 2018. The first meal shall be        lunch on February 19,2018 and the last meal shall be afternoon snack on February 23,2018.          

         4.  Each participant from public and private schools, included in the official list of

Delegation, shall pay a registration fee of Four Thousand Pesos (P4,000.00) only. The registration fee and their travel expenses shall be charged to the school’s

Maintenance and/or Other Operating Expenses/ local/ regional funds/ Special

Education Fund or the School Campus Journalism Fund, whichever is applicable, –

subject to the usual accounting and auditing rule and regulations. The registration fee shall cover the costs of board and! lodging, kits, including conference materials, rental of equipment/ vehicle, payment for utilities, contingency and other related expenses incurred in the conduct of NSPC.

          5 . For further details please refer to DepEd Memorandum No. 200, S. 2017.

          6. Dissemination  of and compliance to this Memorandum are highly desired.
