The Philippine bureaucracy will be celebrating its 118th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary under the Theme “Tugon sa Hamon ng Pagbabago: Malasakit ng Lingkod Bayanr, this month of September 2018.
Attached is the list containing the specific activities that will be conducted here in the Province of Samar. It is requested that all government agencies should actively participate in the said activities for the month-long celebration and your agency is one among them.

ADVISORY
(FIFTY PESOS PARA SA PRESO, THANKSGIVING MASS AND WALK FOR A CAUSE)
All paticipants are encouraged to donate fity pesos (P50.00 each) for the cause. The participating agency shall designate a person to collect the amount to be remitted to Ms. MA. PATRIA C. DACALLOS, Treasurer of the PCHRMP on or before September 3, 2018. corresponding receipt shall be issued upon remittance. The proceeds of the fund-raising activity will be spent in purchasing Foods and Chairs to be distributed to the most-needy detainees in Samar Provincial Jail, Catbalogan City.
THANKSGIVING MASS
All government employees within Catbalogan City are encouraged to attend the Thanksgiving Mass sponsored by the Provincial Council of Human Resource Management Practitioners – Samar Chapter and the Civil Service Commission – Samar Field Office on September 4, 2018, 7:00 o’clock in the morning at the St. Bartolomew Parish Church,
Catbalogan City. All heads of agencies are requested to bring along with them anything they can offer during the Offertory.
WALK FOR A CAUSE
Right after the Thanksgiving Mass, a Funwalk
will be conducted starting from the street fronting St Bartolomew
Parish Church, to culminate at Samar Provincial Covered Court, Catbalogan
City. All participating agencies are requested to bring along with them their agency
banners for identification purposes; attire is at the discretion of the agency
head; snacks and water shall be provided by the participating
agencies to their personnel; Order of Parade shall be as follows : 8th ID Colours
and Band; Parade Marshall PNP, Philippine Army Contingent; Philippine National Police
Troop, Officers / Members of PCHRMP –
Samar Chapter; Employees in the National Agencies, Employees of Samar
State University, Samar National School Drum & Bugle Corps,
Employees of the Provinciai and City Government Offices.

Right after the “Walk for a Cause”, a short program will be conducted to commemorate the 118th
Philippine Civil Service Anniversary.
