2018 NATIONAL SCIENCE CLUB MONTH CELEBRATION

1. This Division, through the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) announces the
2018 National Science Club Month Celebration (NSCM) which will be held on
September 1-30, 2018.
2. This year’s theme is “Science for the People: Innovation for Collective Prosperity.”
All public and private elementary and secondary schools are invited to celebrate the country’s achievements in broad fields of science and technology.
3. In line with this, public and pivate elementary and secondary schools may
conduct their school-based Science competitions in preparation for the Division Festival of Talents comes September 2018.
4. All expenses relative to the conduct of the 2018 National Science Club Month
Celebration shall be charged to local funds/MOOE subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
5. All schools and districts are required to submit their respective reports in the
conduct of their respective activities with a comprehensive documentation of the various activities executed. Deadline for submission is on October 8, 2018.
6. Immediate and wide dissemination of this memorandum is desired.
