1. In line with the continued partnership with the City Government of Catbalogan and The Gawad Kalinga Community Development Foundation, this office announces for another Heroes Build Challenge to be conducted on August 18-19, 2018 (Saturday and Sunday) in Barangay Payao, to assist in the hauling of construction materials and other related work to fast track the construction of these raw houses. Those who have shovel (“pala”) please bring them with you to be used in the site.
2. The expected participants are the
following identified number of teachers per district and all elementary and
secondary School Heads. All Public Schools District Supervisors are directed to
identify and submit a list of selected volunteer teachers and SHs who will
attend to this activity. Attention: Carlito B. Labine, SocMob Unit.

The Gawad Kaiinga Community Development Foundation in partnership with the City Govenment of Catbalogan is very much grateful for your participation during the recently conducted Heroes Build last August 3-5, 2018 in Barangay Payao, for the construction of the row houses for families of landslide victims in Barangay Mercedes of this City.
Relative thereto, the undersigned is encouraging and inviting your employees to participate and be a Volunteer in another Heroes Build to be conducted on August 18-19, 2018 (Saturday and Sunday) and onwards to assist in the hauling of construction materials and other related work to fast track the construction of these row houses. Those who have shovel (“pala”) please bring them with you to be used in the site.
As agreed and as part of the spirit of volunteerism, Volunteers needs o bring their own food and drinking water during the acivity.
May your noble act be of great help o transform lives of these homeless individual who were devastated by landslide in Catbalogan City.
