OBSERVANCE OF THE SYNCHRONIZED 2018 PORTFOLIO DAY
TO: Chief Education Supervisors

Elementary and Secondary School Heads All Others Concerned
1. In cognizance to the Regional Memorandum no. 366, s. 2018, entitled “Schedule of the 2018
Portfolio day”, and in compliance with the evidence-based performance and assessment/evaluation which is an essential part of the learning process, this office encourages all schools to implement the Portfolio Day during the Quarterly Card Giving.
2. The School-Based Portfolio Day shall be done following the schedule below:
1s< Grading Period – August 18, 2018
2nd Grading Period – October 27, 2018
3rd Grading Period – January 19, 2019
4*> Grading Period – April 11 – 12, 2019
3. The following suggested activities shall be observed:
a. Distribution of Cards;
b. Parent – Teacher – Adviser Conference and Feedback Giving;
c. Display/exhibit of pupils/students Outputs and Peformance; and
d. School PTA Meeting.
4. Division Monitoring Team is hereby organized to monitor and ensure the smooth and
meaningful conduct of the activity. The schools are expected to submit an accomplishment report to the Division Office (Attn: CID), immediately a week after the event.
5. The list of assignment is found in the enclosure no. 1 of this Memorandum.
6. Expenses incurred by the Division Teams relative to the monitoring of Portfolio Day shall be
charged against the local funds subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and
regulations.
7. This Memorandum shall serve as the Travel Order.
8. Immediate dissemination of and compliance with this Memorandum is desired.
