SUBJECT: 2018 MTAP-DEPED Saturday Program in Mathematics for Regular Learners
Date: July 16, 2018
1. Pursuant to DepED Advisory No. 107, s. 2018 dated June 20, 2018, the 2017 MTAP-DepED Saturday Program in Mathematics for Regular Learners in our division will be conducted in Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon on the following dates: July 28, August 4, August 18, August 25, September 1, and September 8. The sessions will be for learners who belong from the 15th to 85th percentile at each grade level from Grades 1 to 10. A written permit from the parents is necessary.
2. This program aims to:
a. provide learners the opportunity to explore mathematics without the threat of tests;
b. review the materials covered last school year to enable them to do well in mathematics in the
present school year; and
c. prepare the grade 6 and grade 10 students for entrance examinations for grade 7, Junior High
School (JHS) and grade 11, Senior High School (SHS).
3. There will be a one time registration fee of P 200,00 which will be utilized in the reproduction of the materials and payment of allowance to the review teachers. Interested individuals may pay the amount to Uldarico Daz, Center Coordinator for Catbalogan I, Ma. Elena dela Concepcion, Center Coordinator of Samar National School or Mrs. Evangelina B. Sagadal, Head Teacher VI, Samar National School.
4. Attendance to this program is of voluntary basis and is not a requirement in any math subject.
