TO PARTICIPATE THE 2018 INTER-SCHOOL TOURNAMENT

1. Attached is Memorandum Circular No. 154, series of 2018, from the Local Government of Catbalogan City, re: Invitation to the Different Schools Under DepED City Division to Participate the 2018 Inter-School Tournament, inviting our young student-athletes to join in the said launching on July 21, 2018.lnter-School Tournament shall be played every Saturdays and Sundays only at the Provincial Covered Court, Catbalogan City and other designated playing venues.
2.In line with this, the following are the identified Tournament Managers and Designated District/School Sports Coordinators who will participate in the said event, to wit:

3. Each district/school is given the option to select what events they will specialize and participate. Likewise, events to be contested for this tournament are as follows:

4. The provision of DepEd Order No. 53, s. 2003 entitled updated guidelines on grant of vacation service credits to teachers and compensatory time-off of non-teaching personnel for services rendered during Saturdays, Sundays and holiday shall apply to teachers and school officials who actually participated in the activity.
5. In addition to this, all school heads are
enjoined to arrange training schedules making sure not to affect academic performance of the student athletes. All
Tournament Managers will select their own Officiating Officials and Schools
shall provide their own uniforms charge to their School MOOE fund^
6. Immediate dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
