1.        The Samar GS Council will conduct the Girl Clubs Orientation, herewith are the details:

The said orientation aims to get the girls acquainted with the different special programs of the Movement

and encourage them to work on these programs as they grow and develop themselves to be disciplined,

responsible citizens and to be of service to their communities. The different programs are:

a. Pilar Hidalgo Lim Troop Achievement Award

b. Magic Spot

c. Chief Girl Scout Medal Scheme

d. CHERISH/TulongBata Project Participants of this conference are

e. Senior Planning Board Organization

f. Radio/TV Clubs

– Four (4) Elementary Pupils from Grade IV to Grade VI per District

– Four (4) Secondary Students from Grade VII to Grade X per School

– Four (4) Senior High School

– Four (4) College Students

– DFA/GS Coordinators and Adult Leaders per School/District

Girl participants are requested to be in the GS Camp Uniform and Adult Leaders are requested to wear any GS Fun T-Shirt with jeans.

5.      Transportation expenses and the registration fees shall be collected from each participant to cover expenses

for program materials and food, and shall be chargeable against the local funds / MOOE / SEF / SPED Funds of each school subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

6. Immediate and dissemination of this memorandum is earnestly desired.

Greetings!

More and more Junior, Senior and Cadet Girl Scouts are exposed to the different global problems, thus, the role of Girl Scouts in national development should be intensified and strengthened.

A Girl Clubs Orientation is scheduled to get the girls acquainted with the different special programs of the Movement and encourage them to work on these programs, as they grow and develop themselves and as they extensively participate in community development work. Herewith are the details:

The   transportation   and   registration   expenses   of   participants   shall   be   chargeable   against   local District/School/SPED Funds subject to the local accounting procedures.
