3-DAY DIVISION TRAINING-WORKSHOP FOR UNTRAINED KINDERGARTEN

1.           In line with R.A. 10157, re: Implementing Rules and Regulations on the Instituionalization

of Kindergaten Program in Basic Education Curriculum, a Division Training-Workshop for the

untrained Kindergaten Teachers will be conducted on April 30-May 2, 2018 at Catbalogan V Central

School.

2.         The objectives of the training are:

a.   To provide the teachers with the rationale, theories, principles and legal basis of

Kindergarten Program.

b. To equip the teachers with the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary in handling
      kindergaten classes.

c. To capacitate the Kindergaten teachers with developmentally appropriate practices for the
      management of kindergaten classes.

d. To orient the teachers on the proper conduct of the different assessment tools used in
      kindergaten.

3.             Paticipants to this training-workshop are listed in enclosure 1.

4.            Other teachers who would like to paticipate in the training must signify their interest to join

by contacting the Division Kindergaten Coordinator on or before April 20, 2018. Failure to do so would mean a waiver to be pat of the raming-workshop.

5.                   A registration fee of One Thousand Pesos (P1,000) will be collected from each paticipant to defray expenditures such as: six (6) snacks and three (3) meals, hand-outs, certificates, supplies and materials and other incidental expenses which may be incurred in the conduct of the training.

5.                        The registration fee- and travel expenses of the regular permanent teacher- participants

relative to their attendance to this workshop shall be charged against local/MOOE funds subject to the

usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

6.             In connection with the conduct of the trahihig, a planning conference of all the facilitators

listed in the training matrix will be held on April 12, 2018 at the LRMDS room, at 2:00 o’clock in the

afternoon.

7.            Wide and immediate dissemination of this Memorandum is enjoined.
