SUBJECT:                          National Seminar and Consultation Workshop on Policies Related

to Teachers’ Rights and Duties organized by the Teachers’ Dignity Coalition on March 16-18,2018

The Teachers Dignity Coalition (TDC) will hold the National Seminar and Consultation Workshop on Policies Related to Teachers’ Rights and Duties with the theme Empowered Scliools, Better Education on March 16 to 18,2018 at the Romulo Hall, Baguio Teachers’ Camp, Baguio Ciy.

The specific objectives of the seminar are as follows:

1. To equip the teacher-leaders and school heads with knowledge on several rules of the
        DepEd, CSC, PRC, and GSIS particularly those related o teachers’ rights and duties;

2. To serve as consultation and feedback mechanism that would formulate policy
       recommendations and proposals for the policies related o teachers’ rights and duties; 3. To facilitate the formation of teachers’ organizations in the grassroots that will closely
       coordinate with DepEd management to ensure the protection of teachers’ rights and
       welfare.

Teacher-leaders, heads of teachers’ organizations, and school heads are invited to attend and participate to this event. To regulate the number of participants, the TDC shall send the list of expected attendees to the respective Regional arid Division offices. A minimum contribution of Two Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (P 2,500.00) shall be charged to each participant to cover meals, accommodation, conference kits, honoraria for speakers, souvenir items, and other incidental expenses. Registration and transportation expenses can be charged against the school MOOE, or any available local funds.
