Concerned School Heads for Public & Private Elementary & Secondary Schools, District Field Advisers/School Girl Scout Coordinators
1. The Samar GS Council will conduct its COUNCIL CONVENTION on February 16. 2018 at the Samar GS
Council Hqs., Catbalogan City. The registration will stat at 8:00 o’clock in the morning.
2. A new set of Council Board for the Triennium 2018 – 2021 shall be elected. The Council Board is the
governing and policy-making body of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines – SAMAR COUNCIL, and as such, it shall promote the interest of the organization as a whole;
3. Participants of this event are:

District Field Advisers/School Girl Scout Coordinators
Ms. Erlina A. Botorres, Catbalogan I CES, (being newly elected among the four District
Committee Members of the Council Board T2018-2021)
Ms. Rosalinda Navales of Salug ES, Catbalogan I District (being newly elected among the four Troop Leaders for Council Board T2018-2021)
Ms. Marjorie V. Malinao of Samar National School (being elected as one of the Young Adults in the Council Board CompositionT2018-2021)

Warm greetings!
The Council will have its Council Convention on February 16, 2018. We shall once again elect our new set of Council Board for the Triennium 2018 – 2021.
The Council Board is the governing and policy-making body of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines – SAMAR COUNCIL, and as such, it shall promote the interest of the organization as a whole.
As an outstanding citizen and interested in youth development, we are inviting you once again to the said election.

The event will start at 8:00 o’clock in the morning for the registration. The election of the Members-at-Large shall commence by 9:30 in the morning, afterwhich the election for the Executive Committee shall follow. The first Council Board Meeting will be done on the afternoon.
