Administration of Test of English Proficiency for Teachers
and Process Skills Test in Science and
Mathematics
for Grades 9 and 10 Teachers

1. In reference to Deped Memorandum No. 163, s. 2017, this office hereby informs the field that
the Department of Education thru the Bureau of Education Assessment (BEA) shall administer the Test of English Proficiency for Teachers and Process Skills Test in Science and Mathematics to all permanent public school Grades 9 and 10 Science and Mathematics teachers on
Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Catbalogan I Central Elementary School.
2. The list of identified grade 9 and 10 teachers who shall take the test is attached hereto. It is
advised that they must be at the testing center before 8:00 o’clock in the morning on the aforementioned date. They should bring lead no. 2 pencils, a sharpener and a clean sheet of paper and must know the School ID of his/her respective school.
3. The following will serve as Room Examiners for the conduct of the test.
a. Grace L. Bayabay – Education Program Supervisor
b. Michael P. Radomes – Education Program Specialist II – M & E
4. There shall be an authorized BEA representative shall be assigned to monitor in the
administration of the test in the Division.
5. Expenses relative to the conduct of the said test such as food and accommodation of the
monitor and other expenses shall be charged against Division/School MOOE Funds subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
6. Immediate and wide dissemination of this memorandum is earnestly desired.
