Subject: GAD EXPO 2018

1. As part of the Division initiative to strengthen mainstreaming efforts in implementing Gender and Development (GAD) program in schools, this Office through the Human Resource and Development (HRD) Section, will conduct the 2018 GAD EXPO on December 15, 2018 @8AM at Samar National School, centered on GAD Project initiative AlaGAD “Advocacy Leading Action for Gender and Development”.
2. This activity will underscore the activities and programs implemented by the Schools for Calendar Year 2018 that will serve as an avenue to review the current implementation of GAD Program in Schools and to showcase current best practices.
3. The highlight of this activity would be the putting up of GAD District Booth which will serve as gallery of remarkable accomplishments of all schools per district presented through portfolios and video presentations.
4. The participants of this activity are the Public School District Supervisors, School Heads, School GAD Focal Persons, who are entitled for one (1) day service credit.
5. Expenses to be incurred in conducting this activity shall be charged against School/Division GAD Fund, subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
6. Immediate dissemination of this memorandum is desired.
