1 In reference to DepEd Memorandum No. 185, s. 2018 dated November 29, 2018, re: ADMINISTRATION OF THE NATIONAL CAREER ASSESSMENT EXAMINATION FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR 2018-2019, this office hereby informs the field that the said test will be conducted on December 12-13, 2018 to all Grade 9 students in both public and private schools nationwide. However, due to conflict of Division’s lined-up activities it was moved earlier to December 8-9,2018.
2. It is expected that the School Heads with the assistance of the School Testing Coordinators shall conduct at the school level an orientation to identified teachers who will be designated as room examiners/room supervisors for the conduct of the test.
3. Grade 9 Class advisers shall prepare and inform the Grade 9 students/examinees to be ready during the testing day of the following information:
a) Region Code
b) Division Code
c) School ID
d) LRN
e) Final Ratings in Grade 8 for the following
Subjects: Math, English, Science and
TLE
4. Distribution of the NCAE Testing materials will be in the morning of December 5, 2018, at Catbalogan City Division Office. As per communication sent by the Bureau of Education Assessment (BEA), it is advised that during the testing day, the schools are allowed to have half of their examinees take the Test Booklet 1 (TB1) and the other half to take Test Booklet 2 (TB2) on the first day and exchange test booklet on the second day of examination due to insufficiency of allocation of the testing materials.
